I have had the privilege of serving God in ministry since 2001 as a pastor and hospice chaplain. I am passionate about teaching God’s word and teaching others how to study for themselves.
I married the woman God created for me on April 8, 1993. Kim and I have two beautiful daughters who are both married to Godly men. God has also blessed us with three grandchildren so far.
One of my favorite bible verses is Matthew 6:33, because it gives direction and the promise of God’s blessing.
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (NLT)
I spend my free time woodworking, and I enjoy chasing the ball around a golf course.
Wanda Thompson
Worship Leader
Wanda is a long time member of Sandy Level. She leads worship in our Traditional Worship Service. She directs the choir and leads our congregational singing.
Dorcas Oluwafisoye
Children's Ministry Leader
Dorcas is a member of Sandy Level. She is married to Sam, they have 4 daughters and they reside here in Blythewood. She is works for the Richland 2 School District and works at Sandlapper Elementary. Dorcas is very excited to be working with our kid's ministry here at Sandy Level!
Kellye Cantrell
Ministry Assistant
Kellye Cantrell is our Ministry Assistant. She is married to Dustin and they have two children, Stella and Carter. She lives here in Blythewood and attends Newspring Columbia North East Campus. She has a passion for serving the Lord and is here to assist the congregation at Sandy Level.
